GRRRR......

I'm still "patiently"waiting for Space Marine to come out... ok maybe no patiently, but I am very excited for it.  I'm still debating on which console to pick the game up for.  Where I am a HUGE fan of the Blood Ravens, having played every single DoW game in existence, I am not entirely convinced of the controls.  I've always felt it easier to play games with that amount of commotion on consoles where the button layouts our determined by analog sticks and not a mouse.  I've also felt that it flows better.  One example would be Arkham Asylum.  The combat system in that game was in my opinion very fine tuned.  I used the analog sticks to switch between opponents and changing out weapons was as difficult as pushing a button.  Same with all 4 DMC's.  I'm not too worried about the graphics on the game since that has always played a VERY small part in how much I appreciate a game so if I do get a console version it will most likely be 360 so that I can play with some friends.  Luckily I still have 2 months to decide which one to get.

Now my Grey Knights army is as always in flux.  Though I love the Terminator models I have and would love nothing more then to toss them on the field I feel that they are too expensive for my current point allotment.  There isn't very much you can do with 1000 points.  In fact other then a few squads or pretty much limited to a few squads and maybe some transports.  Playing a Grey Knights army limits me even more due to the their large point costs.  I know for sure that I am including at least one full squad (possibly two) of PA Grey Knights (2 Psycannons, 1 Daemonhammer) + rhino and a Psyflemen Dreadnought.  This gives me some flexibility with my units in what I would like them to do.  What I'm not entirely sure about is where to go from there.  Though I would love to stick to a more "fluff" army (yes yes i know the dreadnought kinda throws fluff out the window) I feel that adding another strike squad makes my army lack focus.  It's flexible but flexibility doesn't always win.  With that being said I've been giving some serious thought to a list such as this one.

HQ
Ordo Xenos Power Armor, Power Sword - 48
or
Ordo Malleus Power Armor, Daemon Hammer - 50

Elite
3 Warrior Acolytes Meltaguns, Chimera -97
5 Purifiers 4 Halberds, Daemon Hammer, Psyback -  183

Troops
10 Grey Knight Strike Squad 2 Psycannons, Daemon Hammer, Rhino - 270
10 Grey Knight Strike Squad 2 Psycannons, Daemon Hammer, Rhino - 270

Heavy Support
Psyfleman - 135

Total: 998 or 1000

My other idea was to drop the Purifiers for 5 man Strike Squad in a psyback but I'm not over convinced on their potential.  My main plan is to use the Strike Squads to whither my opponents down with fighting and then using the Purifiers as mop up.  I'd toss the Inquisitor into the Psyback with them and they'd take out the rest of a squad using melee.  I'd then use the Acolytes in the Chimera to protect the Purifiers and block LOS when possible.  Ugh i really need to just build the army and start trying out lists.
